Communal Area Cleaning

Communal areas can be a challenge to keep clean. However, the thorough, regular and reliable service provided by ACL Cleaning ensures communal areas are maintained to a high standard, ensuring your residents enjoy a clean communal environment.

As with our other services, we agree with you cleanliness and service standards that meet your particular needs. Typically this would be on a weekly or fortnightly rota.

Our communal area cleaning services include:

  • Mopping of hard floors, and /or vacuuming of carpeted entrances, stairs and landings.
  • General cleaning of the communal areas, including dusting, wiping of painted surfaces and removing finger marks from glass.
  • Most flats have a problem with refuse areas, so whilst onsite we can collect loose rubbish and place it into bins as well as sweep and disinfect the refuse area, eliminating unpleasant smells and reducing the likelihood of attracting vermin.
  • In addition, periodically the bins can be pressure washed preventing build up of food and dirt residues.
  • Minor repairs and maintenance includes light bulb replacement, door adjustments to prevent slamming and reporting of any more serious maintenance issues.
  • Litter picking can either be incorporated into the regular cleaning or grounds maintenance visits.
